The field notes

What to come here for.

Reimagine’s lesson page answers a question that many farm websites leave open: its school horses are available for groundwork, while mounted instruction requires your own horse. That makes it a different kind of entry from a conventional riding school, even though both use the word “lessons.”

The boarding pages also need to be read together. A starting package of $1,275 appears on the boarding page and lesson board from $1,575 appears on the lesson page. Choose the actual program with the operator before putting either number into a comparison. The property description includes indoor work and trails, but visits are arranged privately.

Our reading of the offer

Shortlist for owner-and-horse instruction or school-horse groundwork. It does not satisfy a mounted school-horse search.

Packages from $1,275; confirm the program

The boarding page lists packages from $1,275 monthly; the lessons page describes lesson board from $1,575. These are different references requiring a matched quote.

A zero additional commitment in the planner means no separate requirement was identified on the reviewed pages. It is still a question to confirm with the farm.

Lessons & getting started.

$100 at-farm lesson; mounted work needs your horse

School horses are available for groundwork. The lesson page explicitly requires your own horse for mounted riding. Do not book expecting an ordinary school-horse riding lesson.

School-horse status: School horses for groundwork only. An advertised service does not establish a current opening or a suitable match.

Facilities & daily care.

  • Attached indoor arena and round pen
  • Dutch-door stalls and turnout options
  • Trails on a large private property
  • Groundwork school horses; own horse for mounted instruction

These are operator descriptions. The list is selective and does not establish every inclusion in a boarding contract.

Take these to the farm

Three useful questions.

  1. What is included in the package you recommend, at what monthly total?
  2. Would my appointment be mounted or entirely groundwork?
  3. How do individual and herd turnout options work for a new horse?
