The field notes
What to come here for.
Seaton Hackney explains how a lesson is counted: the 50-minute appointment includes preparation adjustments, warm-up and cool-down. Riders are asked to arrive fifteen minutes early. That is practical information for anyone coordinating a first lesson around work, school or a long drive.
The program offers school horses across several disciplines, with leasing as another route for continuing riders. This directory does not infer a current boarding offer from an empty boarding page. For a lesson inquiry, settle the price, group size and assigned format by phone, then follow the farm’s arrival and clothing instructions.
Our reading of the offer
A strong information starting point for the first-lesson search. Ask for current prices and treat boarding as unconfirmed.

Boarding offer not established
The current public boarding-and-training page did not provide a substantive offer. This entry is included for lessons and riding programs.
A zero additional commitment in the planner means no separate requirement was identified on the reviewed pages. It is still a question to confirm with the farm.
Lessons & getting started.
50-minute lessons; request current prices
Private, semi-private and group formats are offered. The farm says lesson time includes adjustments, warm-up and cool-down; riders arrive 15 minutes early. Riding cards expire after six months.
School-horse status: Mounted school-horse lessons. An advertised service does not establish a current opening or a suitable match.

Three useful questions.
- What is the current price and group size for the proposed lesson?
- How are weather cancellations and make-up appointments handled?
- Which horse and instructor suit my present riding experience?
